You can send and receive Yahoo emails from your mobile device
Getting all your emails in one place, whether desktop or mobile, is convenient.
If you like to send and receive Yahoo Mail emails using a client or other email application, you must initial access the IMAP settings for your Yahoo Mail account on that client or application.
Yahoo provides IMAP access to your Yahoo Mail account for mobile devices and e-mail programs on the desktop.
Introduction to your entire mail in one point
After inserting the Yahoo IMAP and SMTP settings in the Settings part of the email provider you prefer to use, you can use your regular program example - Gmail, AOL or Outlook - or an app on your mobile device to get and send messages to your Yahoo Mail address in addition to accessing your online account through a browser. IMAP settings assure that you can access the mail in all your Yahoo files in both the email program and the browser.
Log in to your Yahoo Mail account with your mail program using IMAP
To enter Yahoo Mail directly in an email program, enter the following settings:
- IMAP server Yahoo Mail: imap.mail.yahoo.com
- IMAP port: 993
- IMAP TLS / SSL: po
- IMAP Username: Your full Yahoo Mail address
- IMAP password: Your Yahoo Mail Password
- SMTP server Yahoo Mail: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
- SMTP Port: 465 (you can try 587 as an alternative)
- SMTP TLS / SSL: po
- SMTP User Name: Your full Yahoo Mail address
- SMTP Password: Your Yahoo Mail Password
